Pit Audio
There are many terms that day traders use to describe pit audio. It can be referred to as pit noise, S&P pit noise, squawk audio and the squawk box
Pit Audio is not that easy to get used to, but once you do, it is a great tool to trade. Pit audio is not a lagging indicator, but a instead it is a leading indicator. A lot of traders don't know the benefits of pit audio. Pit audio was originally designed for floor traders that needed the information with 0 delay. They want to hear what they would see if they were standing there.
Pit audio provides the live factual information commentary. It is very important to realize that pit audio is only a factual service. It will not tell you to make trade, go long or go short. Pit Audio relizes on just reporting the activities in the pit.
That terminology in pit audio is very industry specific. It takes about 2 weeks to get used to pit, but once you get past the terminology, you get to hear information that is pertinent to your trading. Pit Audio provides information you can't get from a chart, it is conveyed through the audio.
